Guest robots and reusable modules are saved in your browser on this device. Clearing browser storage can remove them. Export a project file for a portable backup.
Signing in shares your Google account identifier, verified email and display name with V5 Lab. These identify your private cloud workspace. V5 Lab does not receive your Google password, read your Drive files, or store Google access tokens. A secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. Signing out revokes that session.
When you save to cloud, your project name, component placements, connections, subassemblies and motion settings are stored in Cloudflare D1 under your account. Other users cannot open these records through the app. The service operator can administer the storage. Cloud storage is limited to 100 robots and modules per account and 1 MB of project data per item. CAD models are supplied separately from the official-source component library.
Cloud auto-save begins after you open or save a cloud robot and can be turned off. A conflicting save from another device will not overwrite your local work. Export important designs regularly.
AI Build sends your prompt, recent in-session conversation and an assembly summary to Cloudflare Workers AI. This includes relevant part IDs, joints, module names and diagnostic findings. V5 Lab does not save the chat transcript to its cloud project database.
Delete individual cloud items in My projects. Account settings provides a permanent deletion action for your account, sessions, cloud robots and modules. Cloudflare’s operational logs and backup recovery retention are managed by Cloudflare. Local browser copies and exported files remain until you remove them separately. Signing out does not clear local copies; consider this when using a shared device.
