QUICK GUIDE

Welcome to the workbench

Click a library card to add it, or drag it onto the grid. Your assembly is automatically saved in this browser. Use Save file for a portable backup.

Connect two parts

Select the part to move, choose Connect, then click one of its blue points. Hover over a point on the destination part to see a translucent preview of the resulting placement, including connected parts. A blue preview can be confirmed. A red preview indicates interference or a below-surface placement and cannot be connected. Move away to dismiss the preview. The faces align and the parts become a fixed group. Choose a different face to flip the alignment. Use rotation or numeric fields before connecting to set the desired twist.

Blue points come from apertures in the official geometry. Axle endpoints and part centers are also available. Movement is constrained above the surface, and intersecting placements are blocked using the converted model geometry. Verify manufacturing tolerances, fastener choice, and moving mechanisms before a physical build.

Positions are shown in millimeters. Grid snap uses a 12.7 mm pitch; rotation snap uses 15°. The example is a layout study with no fasteners or verified mechanical connections. Browser storage is local to this device.
